Internship

I’ve had a cold since Wednesday night and I’m ready for it to be done. My throats itches, my nose is stuffy and my head aches. I didn’t post last night, but I watched movies and played Boggle. By playing the game, I got a few words to use (aka I make up words and hope they are words when I look them up in the dictionary).

Yesterday, I got an e-mail explaining my internship training. For nine days, I’ll be going to class from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. I’ll have lots of books to carry, no free time and homework in the evenings. I’m starting to think I’m not prepared.

I created this blog to track  my preparation for this internship. I’ve learned a lot of vocabulary, which is obvious, but I’ve haven’t stuck to my reading schedule, I haven’t figured out my living situation for the summer and I haven’t written a single journalism-related story.

I’m not saying I’m worried. I’m just easily distracted.
