Word of the day: mojo

MOJO

Now you can tell my life is getting really pathetic. I want to go back to school. I need work. Someone make me stop playing Zuma Blitz!

My visit in Geneva has concluded. I had a blast watching How I Met Your Mother, walking by cold Seneca Lake (which doesn’t freeze because of its depth), eating out, antique shopping and ice skating (aka trying not to fall).

After my two-hour drive home, I cleaned my room for a bit. Having little motivation for productivity, I found myself playing Zuma. And while staring at the screen, my eyes starting to burn, I found my word.

Zuma BlitzMojo? I need it to feed my frog so he can shoot purple, green and red balls to gain points.

According to Wikipedia, not only is mojo self-confidence or sex appeal (like in Austin Powers), it’s a hoodoo magic charm, most often a red flannel drawstring satchel worn under clothing.

Check out the definition and examples on Merriam-Webster.

Next time I’m winning mojo for my frog (probably in a few minutes), I’ll know what I’m giving him.
